In Rhythm with the Waves
 
Standing there, feet in the water at sunrise, lulled by the sound of the waves… honestly, I don't know many better ways to start a day. At that hour, everything feels different. The world is still calm, the light shifts minute by minute, and nature slowly wakes under the first glow of the sun.
 
That's also what I love about landscape photography. Those moments when you simply take the time to observe, far from the noise and pace of everyday life. And then there's that feeling… of being exactly in the right place at the right moment.
 
And yes, the Pink Granite Coast isn't just about its rocky chaos. It's also home to beautiful beaches and particularly gentle atmospheres at daybreak.

When photographing the Milky Way, one rule is essential: always follow the weather. The Milky Way can only be photographed under clear, cloudless skies. On this particular evening, the conditions were finally perfect, so I spontaneously drove into the Berchtesgaden Alps in the middle of the night.
 
To prevent light pollution from washing out the horizon, I mounted the Haida Night Clear Filter. I captured 70 individual exposures and stacked them afterward to create this final image. It was a truly special night for me, and one I won't forget.

The Namib Desert is the oldest desert in the world. Far from the hotspots, I was looking for a spot that evening where the sand would be free of footprints. After a few minutes of walking from the parking lot, I found this wonderful dune. The weather forecast promised medium-high clouds, which glow shortly after sunset. I had already had this location in mind upon arrival. The patterns in the sand on the dune's crest are particularly beautiful.
